Description
Casting Automated Platform:
Automated high temperature (up to 1000 C) casting platform for faster, repeatable, reliable synthesis of custom alloys from powder based on unique recipes or compositions in a non-oxygenated environment
Combination of up to 10 materials, amounts defined by user input
Generate experiment schedule to minimize equipment downtime
Automated, accurate weighing and dispensing of material in small form capsule (~6g)
Inert gas exchange chamber, sealing and welding allows for hermetically sealed capsule
Furnace heat treatment up to 1000C with optional quench and temper
Central processing control
For characterization of materials after casting - XRD, XRF, hardness tester, conductivity tester are available on-site for use.
Electrochemical Characterization Automated Platform:
Automated 8 cell platform for metal/alloy token parallel electrochemical testing
In-situ characterization via multi-channel potentiostat (e.g. CV, CPP)
Gantry system provides automatic loading/unloading, and cell solution loading/unloading
Testing Capabilities
High throughput high temperature casting for metals and alloys.
High throughput electrochemical characterization for conductive materials .
