AIT-EnergySim Lab

AIT Smart Energy Systems and Technologies Simulation Lab

VA01AIT-EnergySim Lab

Location

Giefinggasse 4

1210 Vienna,  Austria

Description

The AIT EnergySim Lab provides a comprehensive computing cluster infrastructure with different simulation tools for analysing complex smart grid and smart energy systems scenarios. This virtual infrastructure provides a web-based co-simulation platform based on mosaik, Docker, and JupyterHub. Together with JupyterLab, this environment provides a flexible platform that allows configuring and executing co-simulation setups efficiently. This platform is made available to virtual access users via a web interface to reduce the time for the creation and set up of complex co-simulation scenarios.

Testing Capabilities

  • Virtual Access
  • Co-simulation of power and energy systems, as well as sector-coupled systems
